Establishment of "Saubhagya Production Villages"
"The Establishment of Saubhagya Production Villages" for Akkaraipattu Divisional Secretariat was taken lead by the Divisional Secretary Mr. M. S. M. Rassan.
Under the Government's "Saubhagya" Project, 03 GN Divisions, Alimnagar, Issanganicheemai and Pallikkuyiruppu-02, have been selected as "Saubhagya Production Villages" at the Akkaraipattu Divisional Secretariat and its inaugural event was held on 05th of July, 2021 at Alimnagar.
Akkaraipattu Divisional Secretariat Deputy Director of Planning Mr.AM.Thameem, Akkaraipattu Pradeshiya Sabha Chairman Hon. MA. Razeek, Ampara District DCC Chairman Coordinator Mr.AM. Nihal were accompanied by Senior Development Officer Mr.IL.Fajrudeen, Mr.KL. Thaiyoob (EDO-Alimnagar), Mr. SH. Thamjeeth (EDO-Pallikkudiyiruppu-02), Mr.ILM. Irfan (EDO-Issanganicheemai), Mr.AM. Siyath (Grama Niladhari) and Mr. MA. Majeed(SDO) also attended.
And Veterinary Medical Officer Dr.MI. Rifkhan, Mr.SA. Siyan(MPS), President of Alimnagar Jummah Mosque and Imam were also present.
As for first phase of this project, Goats were distributed to the selected beneficiaries from the 3 GN Divisions which was selected for the project and an explanation on goat husbandary was given.
